Day 1

• Introductions
• Course objectives
• Standards and terminology
• Corporate governance and risk management
• Risk management principles
• Development of a simulated risk assessment in stages:
  • Establish the risk management context
  • Use a risk wheel to identify risks
  • Analyse the identified risks
  • Evaluate (prioritise) the risks
  • Treat (mitigate) the risks
  • Communication and monitoring processes
• Review and close day 1

Day 2

• Review day1
• Utilisation of an internet based risk management software package
• Supply of risk templates for use in the workplace
• Provision of tools for the following risk situations:
  • Organisation risk assessment
  • Financial institution risk
  • Project risk assessment
  • Contract risk assessment
  • OHS risk assessment
  • Outsourcing risk assessment
• Review, close and delegate feedback

This course is suitable for anyone who is required to manage risk or who has management oversight of a company risk management programme.

Achievement

Upon completion of this course all participants will receive a "Certificate of Attendance".
